WONDERFUL TOWN - OPERA HOLLAND PARK (as Associate Director)

Alex was Associate Director of Leonard Bernstein's rarely performed musical Wonderful Town. The show was produced by Quick Fantastic at Opera Holland Park, and was directed by Alastair Knights with Choreography by Tony nominated Carrie-Anne Ingrouille, and musical direction from Alex Parker. It starred Louise Dearman and Siubhan Harrison as the leads. The show featured a new orchestration.

Music by Leonard Bernstein, Lyrics by Betty Comden and Adolph Green. Book by Joseph Fields and Jerome Chodorov. Based upon the Play My Sister by Joseph Fields and Jerome Chodorov and the Short Stories by Ruth McKenny.


Alex worked as Associate Director and also developed the set design concept for the piece.
